Welcome to Navigating Emotions: Somatic Skills! This self-paced online course is designed to help you navigate emotions with skill, clarity, and ease. It’s an experiential journey, giving you the chance to practice every technique hands-on as you go. 

Along the way, you’ll learn somatic tools for working with your emotions while also cultivating inner resources that support greater steadiness, centeredness, and calm. 

Created by a somatic therapist and a meditation instructor, this holistic approach is meant to help you connect more authentically with yourself, tap into the strengths already within you, and gently reconnect with both your body and your deeper Self.

Have you heard the phrase “Feel it to heal it” — and wondered how you’re actually supposed to do that?

I’m a very practical person, and I need clear, step-by-step guidance. In my professional work with clients, I discovered I wasn’t alone in that. Many people want to work with their emotions skillfully, but don’t know how to do so in a way that feels safe, grounded, and effective.

This course is the result of a decade-long exploration of practical, body-based approaches for navigating emotions with clarity, ease, and care — while gaining meaningful insight along the way.

Drawing from my background in somatic psychotherapy, as well as yoga and meditation, I’ve learned that a strong mind–body connection and self-compassion are essential foundations for emotional well-being. Throughout this course, these resource-building practices are woven in every step of the way, so you’re not just learning concepts, but developing skills you can actually use in daily life.
